Ever wonder why the the book of John in the Bible describes Jesus as the Word? It practically says that Jesus is God’s word and that He was sent into the world and dwelt among us as a human being. God made His Word become flesh.

The Word became Flesh

The Word became Flesh

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.” -John 1:1

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” – John 1:14

Jesus Christ is God in the form of flesh. He is a hundred percent human and hundred percent God. He is also described as God’s Word. Isn’t God’s Word known as the Bible? Indeed God’s Word is the Bible which centralizes on the main Character – Jesus Christ. All of the things that the Bible is for is to deliver God’s central message to us which is His Son. In essence, God’s Word is indeed Jesus Christ.

While here on Earth, Jesus performed Miracles, taught the people, became a leader, suffered and died on the cross, Jesus did not only speak mere words but lived them out. It should be the same with us. We as Christians have to make our words become flesh by living them out. Do not only speak of what is good and of God’s love, live it.

God showed us how to change the world – He made His Word become flesh. I think we should too.
