If you’re honest enough, you know that a lot of people are struggling with this word that we all find hard to say. Somehow the word masturbation ain’t so good to hear and we cringe when we hear the word. Especially when we’re guilty.

Woke up this morning quite late for work. Was still groggy and dizzy when I got out of bed. Had to work late last night. I popped up my laptop and checked my emails hoping for Seth Godin’s reply to my inquiry for my new website prolinchpin.

Life as we all know it can be summarized into easy stages. You’re born, you study for 20 years of your life, you work another 10, 20 or 30 years and marry and settle down then retire – then die. Isn’t this what it all boils down to? So in all these stages, what, can you say, is the purpose of life?

The world has had the mindset of teenagers being irresponsible, happy-go-lucky, rebellious and what have you. It has branded teens as people who have no particular vision, who’s goal is to have fun and to have it now, who’s curiosity must be satisfied, and the list goes on and on… And when you think about it, we don’t expect much from teens don’t we?

Many young people today are given the thought that it’s okay to have sex, it’s uncool to be a virgin, it’s macho to be sexually active, it’s sexy to have a lot of sexual partners, etc. The internet promotes it like crazy, TV broadcasts it almost directly, movies and media markets the idea. Basically the whole world is promoting pre-marital sex and adultery. So what if I have sex?

Ever seen a magician perform a disappearing act on stage? Amusing isn’t it? One moment you see him clearly with both your eyes, the next instant he’s gone. Have you ever seen a magician making the whole crowd disappear? I haven’t heard of such an occurrence. But there’s a story in the Bible where it predicts just that.

As you all know, there has been an earthquake in Chile with a magnitude of 8.8. It’s a devastating and huge earthquake that has already killed 78 people and left parts of the city in rubbles. People are expecting aftershocks and other countries are expecting tsunamis as an effect of this disaster.

Suicide bombing is rampant in different terrorist networks. It is a common practice. The terrorist organization would buy the son or daughter of a family – sometimes they offer a million, sometimes more, sometimes less. A million for a person’s life? A million for your son? What does Jesus Christ have to do with this article?

We were created by an eternal God to spend an eternal lifetime with Him in paradise. WE LONG FOR THAT! Even in this temporal and fallen world we feel it! My friend was afraid of being forgottten because it is the opposite of what we were made for. We were made to leave a legacy not a legend.

He was sitting on the ground with his head bowed down while holding a plastic cup containing three or four coins.
