Ever seen a magician perform a disappearing act on stage? Amusing isn’t it? One moment you see him clearly with both your eyes, the next instant he’s gone. Have you ever seen a magician making the whole crowd disappear? I haven’t heard of such an occurrence. But there’s a story in the Bible where it predicts just that.

As you all know, I am doing a series for Worry. This is the second topic about that series and I’m going to talk about one good reason why worry isn’t a good thing to keep in life – because worry is a murderer.

Often we have heard of people making it to the top and they tell us that “there’s nothing there.” in other words, their climb to the top, their rise to fame, their pleasures in life are all meaningless.

As you all know, there has been an earthquake in Chile with a magnitude of 8.8. It’s a devastating and huge earthquake that has already killed 78 people and left parts of the city in rubbles. People are expecting aftershocks and other countries are expecting tsunamis as an effect of this disaster.

There are a lot of things we can worry about these days. Now worrying has been a trend in our lives. Here are 5 reasons why you should not worry.

We have preached here and there about God’s love. “God loves you”, “God hates the sin but not the sinner”, “God is gracious”, and the list goes on and on. What ever happened to the angry and just nature of God? We have chosen to pick out a side of God that appeals to us.

Gold is one of the most precious metals in our world today. The reason being it naturally lasts forever. The strongest acids could barely affect it and it does not tarnish. Another reason is that gold is very hard to come about. So why is your life a gold refinery?

We all have emotions. It makes us happy or sad, joyful or mad, it makes us laugh or cry or smile. Emotions move us and make us feel. It is something that’s innate and intentionally designed for us. Emotions are very powerful and we have to be mindful of it. Why? Because our emotions are a very powerful decision-influencers.

Sometimes we are led to think that God doesn’t want us to have the pleasure of sex because He has set up all kinds of rules and regulations around it. Why doesn’t he allow pre-marital sex? Why does He say lust is a sin? Because He is saving sex for you.
