Isn’t it a wonder how easily you fall for someone after you’ve just gotten out of a romantic relationship? Have you ever felt like needing someone for you to love and care about and likewise who loves and cares about you right after a breakup or, as lady Gaga puts it, after a “Bad Romance?”

This question has been the conversation in the minds of a lot of single people out there – whether young or old alike. And it indeed is a valid question as I and a lot of other leaders and pastors have been asked the same one in different variations over and over again.

Sometimes we think of love as something portrayed in the movies. Sometimes we think of love as that beautiful feeling we get when we’re around that special person. Sometimes we think of love as a commitment. And sometimes we’re just confused. So what is love, really?

If you know me, you know that I spend around 8-12 hours a day in front of my laptop during workdays. I browse Facebook and Twitter trying to check my social media accounts if there’s anything new. I go online and chat some friends and loved ones, I read blogs, blogs and more blogs about God, other Christian leaders and SEO and social media marketing. And lastly, I check my e-mails.

It’s a very simple question. I want to hear from my readers what they think about their own love story. We’ve all dreamed of a romance and a story for our own. And I know that we have hopes and ideals in our hearts that we still cling to.

No this is not a post about the 3D animated Disney film. This is more about your experience with your first toy. Remember how it went for you when you got your first toy which you dearly loved? Remember how you cherished it and played and spent time with it? Remember how you felt when it broke?

To all the singles out there (me included) we’re most probably hoping to settle down and get married someday, yeah? We’re working hard to earn money for our so-called future. We’re daydreaming of the day when we get to meet our special other and have that magical love story with him/her. We’re competing on something I’d like to call the Wedding Olympics.

They say people who have had experience in past relationships are better in handling their next one. I agree. But I believe you don’t have to have a past relationship for you to be the best in handling one.

We dream of the perfect love story for ourselves. We often fly away to that place where we dream of a beautiful love story with our special someone. And when reality hits us, we think to ourselves that our love story won’t begin until we reach a certain stage of life. We couldn’t be more wrong.
